We're currently in the final prototyping stages of our game and wanted to check the most appropriate box size in the game maker area. Would the following contents fit inside the Deep Square Box?

5 x A5 player aids (mounted on chipboard / card)
    6 x game board tiles (250x250mm)
2 x standard poker size playing cards
    1 x 50 mini playing cards
    1 x 50 standard meeple pieces
    1 x 50 Tolkens / chits (15-25mm dia.)
    1 x dice

If not would you have an available box size to suit?

    Many thanks,
    Joel

    Hi Joel,
They will all fit in a Deep Square Box.
However I have done a little test and I believe it would all fit into a Rectangle Games Box if you shrunk the Game Tiles to 230x230mm. Just a thought as a cheaper alternative.

    Regards
    Ash.

Thanks Ash, we can certainly shrink the tiles, however think we might still prefer the deep square box.

    Thanks for your response

One more quick question, I assume you able to offer 230x230mm game tiles (x 6) that would make up our game board?

    Many thanks,
    Joel

We absolutely can do. I will get someone to make the product on the site as soon as we can.
Once it's up, I'll notify you it's been added to our products.

    Thanks for that Ash!

Is there a way we can upload the artwork as whole, as the 6 pieces all connect to form the board?

    Cheers,
    Joel

    Hi Rob

    Thanks for your reply

How would you advise us to best upload a 500x750mm game board?

If we divide into 6 square tiles beforehand, will we see some image alignment issues between tiles?

    Many thanks,
    Joel

    Hi Joel,

I'd say decide what game boards you want to use for your tiles and then work your artwork to the full size with bleed that it would come to.
Once your artwork is full size divide it into sections the size of the boards.
Cut a slightly oversized piece out of your board and fit to a new art board the size of your tile. try to go over size to allow a little bleed on each. I'd say that seems the best way to do it to us.
This is not a method we have used before so this is all theory and cannot be sure on alignment but if you follow as I have advice as well as you can it should come out as best it can.
Just ensure all the boards are to the size of the tile.

    Regards,
    Ash
